Churches Together South Shields is an organised group of churches who coordinate joined services throughout the year.

Partnership Working
Area partners are a collaboration of localised churches made up of Catholic Churches, Anglican Churches, Methodist Churches, Baptist Churches, Salvation Army and many more denominations; 70 altogether.
These localised Churches Together groups discuss what is important to their own congregations which help to steer the work of CTST, but also could lead to a localised approach to social action. Topics discussed include how the churches can work together and also can lead to all belief discussions and activities.
Whilst some local groups meet monthly, others who do not meet regular are invited to an annual conference to talk about what is important to them.
Joining the Partnership
Seventy churches form the membership of Churches Together in South Tyneside. If your church is not a member or does not have a representative at our meetings, you are most welcome to join in and get involved. There are great outcomes from these localised groups.
