Dementia Friendly Churches Workshop

Hosted by Grange Road Baptist Church, Jarrow, Nurturing Dementia team delivered a Dementia Friendly Churches workshop, attended by 13 churches with 23 attendees, to better understand friends and visitors who may be living with dementia visiting churches and church services.

The session was presented by Rev Emma Satchell and Maria Scurfield-Walton.

Atendees from this three hour session discussed situations in their own localities and the group came up with ideas and best practice was shared from the facilitators.
